CUSTOMER INFORMATION 

1.     Maximum Order

The maximum dollar value per order for Professional Engineering Services is $750,000. A delivery order that exceeds the maximum order may be placed in accordance with FAR 8.404.

The minimum dollar value per order to be issued is $100.

Prices shown are net prices that include a Government discount.

Labor rates identified in the price lists reflect discounted, net firm-fixed prices at preferred Government customer rates.  Depending on the aggregate volume of business and nature of the work under a Blanket Purchase Agreement, more favorable discounts or progressive discounts may be possible.

7.      Prompt Payment Terms

Net 30 days.

8.    Notification that Government Purchase Cards are Accepted

Government purchase cards will be accepted for orders less than or equal to the micro purchase threshold of $2,500, as well as for orders greater than the micro purchase threshold of $2,500.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Naval Architect

COST CODE: Engineer VII

Minimum/General Experience: At least ten (10) years of progressively responsible professional experience in applying the principles of naval architecture in support of design, structural systems, concept development, test and evaluation and advanced development programs.  Demonstrated qualities of leadership and responsibility in project management and capable of conducting independent activities.  Considerable experience in advanced program model and full-scale test and evaluation, and extensive experience in conducting design studies.

Functional Responsibility: Performs complex designs/studies.  Directs and/or participates in complex advanced system design analysis efforts.  Investigates, interprets and evaluates complex system designs and recommends specific modifications/solutions on known or anticipated problem areas.  Exercises independent judgment and creativity in solving complex problems at all levels of systems analysis and design definition.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or equivalent.  An advanced degree may be substituted for 3 years of experience.  A doctorate degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.

 

Other Direct Costs:

 

 

Direct Costs: All direct labor costs will be billed in accordance with preceding Pricing Tables.  Roots, Inc. understands that if during the time of an individual task order the other direct costs exceed $2,500, the other direct costs will be competed on an open market basis or added through modification to this contract.

Total Agency Satisfaction:

(1) For the purpose of this contract, commitments, warranties, and representations include, in addition to those agreed to for the entire schedule contract:

(a) Time of delivery installation quotations for individual orders.

(b) Technical representations and/or warranties of products concerning performance, total system performance and/or configuration, physical, design and/or functional characteristics and capabilities of a product / equipment / service / software package submitted in response to requirements which result in orders under this schedule contract.

(c) Any representations and/or warranties concerning the products made in any literature, description, drawings and/or specifications furnished by the Contractor.

(2) The above is not intended to encompass items not currently covered by the GSA Schedule contract.
